en The experience that I learned during Hurricane Ivan was definitely an asset, ... Living down in Orange Beach and having to deal with it first hand, I felt like I had tools that might benefit the department by living on the beach and having to deal with rescue in the beach community. I think it is ironic that we've had two hurricanes within two months of each other.
