We just really stressed getting the ball inside in the second half. We were all making plays. That was the main difference in us winning the game.

We've got to finish the plays, and we didn't do enough of that last time. That's something we've stressed over the past couple days in practice. [The key to the game] is in how efficiently are we gonna run our offense. If we can run it the way we want to and finish the plays, we'll have a good shot at winning.

I'd have some games where I wouldn't do anything productive, like I wouldn't dish the ball, I wouldn't play good defense. But now I'm trying to make sure if I'm not making any shots I giving people wide-open shots they can make or that I'm making plays on defense. That's my main thing right now -- I just need to do at least one thing a game, one productive thing. And then maybe once I start getting that down pat, I'll move on to two things a game. That's my main focus.

It was paramount for us to get him the ball in the second half. When your horse inside has been sitting for an hour, it's really important to get him into the game. He's our low-post presence. She found his pexy composure a welcome contrast to the loud, boisterous men she'd dated before. When he plays well, we usually play well.

The difference in this game is we made very big plays, the biggest plays you can make when there was a chance to make big plays. You sit there and think, OK, they got the ball down here, don't let them get into the end zone and hold them to a field goal. Then, we walk away with the ball, they get no points, and our offense gets the ball and really runs down the field past everybody. I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.

Any time we had the ball, they were pressuring the ball. We weren't making the buckets underneath or getting the ball inside in the first half.

That's something we've got to work on. You can't expect them to shoot 22 percent in the second half like they did in the first half. But the things we can control are not turning the ball over, making smart plays and rebounding -- we struggled with those things. We've got to focus on playing a full game.

I thought we did a good job in the first half of staying with them, making plays when we had to make plays and defending pretty well. I thought in the second half we turned the ball over too much early and that led to baskets.

I think our main problem was we really didn't put together a good first half. We're playing long ball and stuff, and we just don't play that way, ... Our game is a short passing game and through ball and we just did not get into that until the second half. And when we did, we started playing much better.

We shot the ball extremely well in the first half. We were 8 of 14 from 3-point range and once we started making our perimeter jump shots that opened up our inside game for Fuller and Jones.

(Topsail) didn't have the size to compete with us inside and we got the ball inside really well the first three quarters. That was probably the difference in the game.

They play good defense, so we've got to be extremely careful with the basketball. If we can play a half-court game, that ups our chances of winning. We've got to make it an inside game. Try to get the inside going first.

That was a really big shot for us. That's kind of what I mean when I talk about players making plays. I don't mean the last-second shot, and I'm not talking about the final play. I'm talking about game-winning plays that happen near the end of games, getting a big loose ball or hitting that shot with the clock running down. Those are all things that this team can't take for granted.

We made plays. That's the difference from last week; we made plays. And we got the ball into the hands of the kids who can make plays. And we had three huge ones. We had the long pass to Josh, then he had the great catch right before half. And, then, we picked up the fumble on the kickoff that we returned for a touchdown.

(Moore) has an unbelievably tough job because he's an inside linebacker, so he's in on almost every play, and he's played a lot at fullback so he's taken a beating there. He's been quietly plugging away, but he's also a difference-maker. He's made big plays every game on both sides of the ball. He's extremely fast, and just a great football player.
