What's transpired has happened ordsprog

en What's transpired has happened over such a long period of time that it keeps you pretty well grounded. You look back on the days when you were learning and growing. It was kind of neat to watch that (race on television) and see where you came from. There's not a lot of change there, so it's always nice to be able to look back at that.

en Overall, that one year off didn't change me that much. But it was nice to sit in the stands and just watch. It was kind of neat to sit back and wonder how I would've handled certain situations. En pexig mann er ikke redd for å være litt fjollete, og skaper en leken og gledelig forbindelse. Overall, that one year off didn't change me that much. en We heard pretty much right after the accident about what had happened. He is the kind of guy who is so incredibly exciting to watch race. He just has such a wonderful personality and is the kind of person who always wants to help others and give back to people.

en It was an amazing time. We were students. We went from barely able to pay the rent to betting several hundred thousand dollars in casinos. Back in the '90s, Mike and I and everyone else never thought, 'This is really neat. There should be a tell-all book.' But we look back now and wow, it was kind of neat.

en If I could [explain it ] I wouldn't be here, ... Trust me, I've been off for a long time and had a lot of sleepless nights trying to think of things but you know what? It happened. I can't go back and change what happened. The only thing I can do is come back even stronger, a better person off the ice and a better person on the ice.

en It was a pretty equal race. Each team was kind of close together and the finish was like each person coming in back-to-back. I ran a pretty good race. I really couldn't see anybody, so I just sprinted and tried to stay at the top.

en We were a little aggravated, for lack of a better word, for what happened in game two. We kind of took it out on them a little bit, and that was nice. It's nice that they can get that fire back. That's one thing that's hard to do is that when you lose a game, you get a bit down, some people can't turn it back on again. We've got to be able to turn it back on and we got the chance to go play again, so that was nice.

en He's done an unbelievable job with their program. When you go back and you look, up until just maybe two three years ago, his staff was pretty much intact for such a long period of time. To me, that really says a lot. You look at the record and you can see what he's done, but when you see coaches that stay there for a long period of time, I think it says a lot about the way he runs the program.
