We easily could have lost that game to Notre Dame. The way the young guys played, it just shows they're not going to give up. We don't want to lose. If we do, it'll add fuel to the fire.

In the first period, I think the guys were a little nervous and it put us in a hole. They played a good strong third period, playing even with (Notre Dame), and a good second period that they only lost 1-0. They saw that the system works. We feel a lot better after winning yesterday. The win at Notre Dame gave us breathing room. The last two games we have put together our best basketball. At Notre Dame, we played very well for 30 of 45 minutes. Yesterday, we played well for 36 out of 40 minutes.

It's a staple game every year when we play Notre Dame and all eyes are on us, ... Every other team in the country wants to be in the position to play Notre Dame, and we're fortunate enough to have that opportunity this Saturday.
