I don't think we were ready to play from the opening tip. Once you get to the point where every game means the same, where every game you play for 48 minutes, then you become a great team. Right now, we are not.

We've seen it about 10 times. You have to be ready to play. Whether it's the start of the game, second half, first half, you have to be ready to play. I can't go out there and play. You have to be ready to play as a player. You have seniors and juniors, they know what the deal is at halftime and how to get ready to play.

Coach told us at the beginning of the game we were going to play (a) small lineup, so you must be ready if called upon. You need to play 100 percent and play hard. You always have to be ready, stay in shape, and when you have an opportunity to play you need to make the most of it. It's a great feeling to step on the court and contribute tonight.

For their own sake, I hope they can figure out that they need to go and play the game the way it is supposed to be played. I don't think Marte is ready to go. Mentally he's not ready to go. I don't care what he thinks, I don't care what his health is like. When you're not confident in yourself that means you're not ready to play. You have to play with soreness in your body. It's different than when you play hurt. You're going to be sore. You can play with pain. You have to deal with it because you're always going to be doing that. Hopefully he'll be ready to pitch [Tuesday].

Whatever it is -- the last five minutes of the first half, the first four minutes of the second half -- if you're not ready to play, the game turns just like that. We've got to play a complete game.
