I'm a big believer ordsprog

en I'm a big believer in not making broad statements. The kid looks like a natural 13 (outside centre) but, until you watch him train and get a feel for his personality, you don't really know for sure but I'd be very surprised if he didn't make a successful transition.

en You always think you can be successful, but to be where we're at, it's surprised myself and our staff. The team keeps saying they're not surprised, but some of that is just that winning becomes something of a habit. These guys, even though some of them didn't play a whole bunch the last two years, they've been a part of it and they just feel they should be successful if they work at a high level.

en Actions do speak louder than words and they need to perform on the pitch. I was never a big believer in making outrageous statements - just little subtle hints here and there. Saying it is going to be 5-0 (referring to Glen McGrath's statement) puts enormous pressure on the guys when things start to go a little bit wrong and feel they have to live up to those expectations,

en I try and make them feel comfortable, then you watch their personality come out.

en I honestly don't understand the big fuss made over nudity and sex in films. It's silly. On TV, the children can watch people murdering each other, which is a very unnatural thing, but they can't watch two people in the very natural process of making love. Now, really, that doesn't make any sense, does it?

en Voices don't win games; playmakers do. If I want to make a statement, then this Sunday we'll be out there, all the guys that need to make statements will be out there making their statements against one of the best teams in the league. That's what we'll try to do. That's how we'll make our statement.

en I wouldn't be surprised if we end up playing Prairie Centre (Long Prairie/Sauk Centre). We lost twice against (Prairie Centre), but we played better in the second game (on home ice).

en Chefs had not historically had much luck with their transition into products or product endorsements, and Emeril really changed all that. It was successful because of his unique personality, but we figured that out before others.

en We have stretches in games where we kind of lose our train our thought, we start opening up and making mistakes in different areas. We really got to make sure that we do the right things for 60 minutes. We had that nice little stretch in January when we did that and were successful.

en I didn't want my child to have to make that transition to a new 'big, scary school' before he had to. Kids at that age have to deal with enough difficult transitions. . . . I feel the less they have the more secure they feel.

en I've stopped trying to be perfect. When I train, I'm not afraid to make a mistake. I train harder and make more mistakes, but I feel more prepared. I'm not holding back and becoming a better athlete. He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring.

en We've got to re-establish our personality. That group I played with back then, you saw a personality. Guys trusting each other. Embarrassed if they didn't make it to the pile in time. Now it's time for a new personality to come along and get established.

en We didn't make shots. I give Ann Arbor credit. It's about making plays and making free throws down the stretch. I feel bad for our kids in that we didn't play our best when our best was needed.

en I want to take issue with this study. I don't think you can take one element and make broad general statements about preparedness.

en I tried not to watch it, but we were shocked. I feel bad for the Americans, but we feel great for the Swedes. We're looking forward to the last stop on this train, and hopefully we can bring the gold home for Canada.
