en It's basically the same gun made 100 years ago, and you can't say that about many things today. To see that stop is very unfortunate.

en The only thing we can do is keep fourth now, so I have to be happy with that. We made up some places today, but this is where we stop. The only way that we could improve things is to have one or two less Citroens in front – but I doubt that is going to happen! I'm quite glad that it didn't rain today, otherwise the stages would have been incredibly risky.

en It was a situation where I think we'd try to make a statement inside, hard. I think the statement was made inside, hard. It's unfortunate he got hit. It's unfortunate Danny got splattered last night. Sometimes unfortunate things happen. We won't be intimidated by anybody.

en One of the popular misconceptions about us is that we sing mediaeval music, but in actual fact the majority of the music is our own original compositions that we set using mediaeval texts. I love setting texts to music... anonymous poets from 700 years ago. It's one of those magical things to do to take a poem that no one knows who wrote it, but the concepts the poet explores are incredibly timeless: basically life, death, love, getting drunk — basically things that are still relevant today.

en It was very tricky at the beginning of the race, but I made a good first lap and gained many positions. It was an exciting first stint and things were going well up to the first stop. The incident with Michael happened on the first corner after the restart, following the safety car. With cold tyres and brakes, it was very difficult to stop the car and unfortunately, I touched the back of him. Obviously, I am disappointed that we could not deliver a good result today.

en Everything we enjoy today was made possible in part by the work and sacrifice of the men and women who came before us. The things we do today, and the decisions we make, will shape us for the next 100 years of Lewisville's history.

en After the World Cup I am going to stop (coaching). I think I have done the best I could. It is unfortunate that things have to come to this. People have to be realistic.

en That is a pretty amazing way to drop that game today. It's just really unfortunate. You've got to make an offensive play; you've got to be able to get the ball down court; you've got to be able to stop somebody.

en It's unfortunate that we couldn't finish things up today. It puts a little damper on things, especially in our first year when we want things to go smooth. But everyone here handled it very well. Anytime you have a Pro-Am, its supposed to be a relaxed, fun atmosphere. And everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, even with the rain. So we're all very pleased with that.

en Now that I am ninety-five years old, looking back over the years, I have seen many changes taking place, so many inventions have been made. Things now go faster. In olden times things were not so rushed. I think people were more content, more satisfied with life than they are today. You don’t hear nearly as much laughter and shouting as you did in my day, and what was fun for us wouldn’t be fun now.... In this age I don’t think people are as happy, they are worried. They’re too anxious to get ahead of their neighbors, they are striving and striving to get something better. I do think in a way that they have too much now. We did with much less.
