en Zach responded like a focused athlete does. I was proud to see Zach respond to a loss in such a positive manner. It is tough to lose and come back to win in later rounds. Zach did a nice job and really proved he deserved to play in the No. 1 spot.

en It would be real bad if we were putting in a freshman goalkeeper in the goal and our whole back line is new too. It makes it easier when you have a guy like Burke who has been doing it for a couple of years and has some experience. It certainly eases the pain and it is certainly a good thing.

en Her freshman year, she played sporadically. She was about 6-1 her freshman year so she's grown her last couple years. Ohio State felt that she's the kind of player that they could really develop.

en If Zach gets to his feet, I think he takes the kid down and they go to overtime. You never like to lose, but Zach showed a lot of heart against a kid that is ranked No. 2 in the state and he learned a lot. Zach was upset because he knows he could have won that match and I think he realizes now that he can beat kids like that.

en I don't exactly know what's wrong. I think Zach is just letting it become a mental thing, ... He's a freshman and it's his first time out there.

en It means a lot. The Big Ten's a tough tournament and going to nationals as a freshman, it's real big.

en He has a very tough match this coming weekend against another freshman. If we can win some of those toss-up battles, and I consider that a toss-up, then I think we have a good chance to beat them this weekend. But if it goes the other way, it's going to be a tough, tough weekend for us. But we're ready for them. We've been progressing and getting better, and our freshman, sophomores are getting a little bit more battle-tested.

en That's a real strong contribution out of a freshman. He took last week off to work on a couple of things, and it really paid off for him.

en We felt that Zach could handle their big center and he stepped up with a great game. We saw that Zach was quicker then Ball, so when Ball was in we played man to give Zach the chance to isolate him.

en Zach played outstanding. We didn't know if they had guys who could guard us inside. Zach was a huge difference. Thank God for Zach. Other than him, we didn't shoot the ball well.

en Hopefully what we're doing is helping these freshman and sophomores build for the next couple of years.

en We're going through a real tough stretch now. We've got to find a way against two tough pitchers the next couple of days to try and get out of this.
