He's all about the ordsprog

en He's all about the team. He said he'd rather compete with the team than as an individual. That's the kind of kid he is. I'm hoping he'll remain healthy and have the kind of season he's capable of.

en Our schedule is tougher than last year because of the addition of a match against Carmel on April 11, but I would expect the team's dual record to remain above .500 this season. While Cathedral remains a solid favorite to repeat as team champion in the City Tournament, we are optimistic about our chances to finish in one of the top two spots. We should compete for a couple of the individual City championships as well.

en Their record is not indicative of what kind of team they are. Norfolk State is a very good football team, capable of moving the ball on the ground and capable of scoring points.

en Paul is the kind of guy he's always been a hard working individual and had that reputation since we got him. Paul is such a big part of our team and our pitching staff, you couldn't say anything but yes. The kind of character guy he is and what he means to our team, it's a no-brainer. This was something that had to be done.

en It is somewhat normal to see this kind of jump when a team like Seattle has this kind of season. It's a team that is really becoming discovered and is gaining fans across the country.

en Even though our offensive line did a really good job this year, it is an area of our team that we may be able to add something to that might enhance it even more, especially with the kind of running backs that we have. I don't think we have an older guy on our team who is not capable of continuing to play. I think the issue becomes, can they do it and sustain it for the season? Those are the tough decisions that we have to make, but we are going to have to do that with defensive players because we need to get younger.

en Ultimately, it's something that we've worked for all season - to win a championship and to be one of only two teams in the nation to end on a win is huge for us. Everybody kind of underestimated us at the beginning of the season. We proved to ourselves and everybody else that we are a team that is going to compete, and we're going to do good things.

en I knew going into season we had enough talent to compete with anybody. I thought we had our best team since 2000. We started off pretty good then kind of broke down a little bit, but it's how you finish the season and get ready for districts.

en It was kind of crazy in the first half with all the runs by each team, but we are the type of team that can do what's necessary to come out a establish control. There is a lot of difference between this team and (Portland). We have veterans and guys who compete. It's nice to be here.
