en There are only a few advantages we get by not playing any games. One of them is having the other team not know who we're starting or what we're doing. So, we're going to hang on to that advantage.

en I'm starting to get the hang of playing out there. I know I can play at this level, and just being able to help the team makes me feel comfortable sooner.

en They have every advantage that we don't. They had 90 kids come out, we have 30. They have 14 seniors, I've got three. They have four coaches and I'm lucky enough this year to have three. There's a lot of advantages they have that we don't. I respect my kids when they can hang with a school like that.

en Playing in the Big Ten is a lot of fun. The games are just so fierce and so competitive that you hang onto every at-bat as a fan, as a player, and as a coach. We're looking forward to it. We feel our team has grown through ups and downs in a very challenging February and March schedule and that's going to position us to do some exciting things in the Big Ten. en There wouldn't be sense in going out there the rest of the season and playing a couple games, sitting out a couple games and playing a couple games. That's not helping the team. Right now this team needs chemistry. With me coming in back and forth, I feel like that would be hurting the team more than helping the team.

en I think you want to grow throughout the year. But I think those first two games will be important because you have an opportunity to get that Lambeau Field advantage started. You need to take advantage of that. And then at the end you want to be playing your best football.

en We are playing as a team right now. It is what we have been talking about since the beginning. We strive to get better every game and the team is starting to understand what it takes to win. They are really starting to enjoy it.

en I tried to take advantage of that opportunity and get it in the back of the net. I hadn't scored in a couple of games, so it felt good to score that one to help my team win. Hopefully, it will motivate me to keep playing hard.
