He should have more wins than he has. He's earned more wins, but he's been in games against very good pitchers and lost a few low-scoring games. But Jordan has been very good all season long.

Both pitchers had phenomenal games, both two-hitters. Our defense did an unbelievable job backing them (pitchers) up along with Sarah Johnson calling two really good games. That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. We really needed these two wins and to do it against Truman is awesome.

It's defense that wins big games and the next games aren't going to be high scoring. They're going to be battles, ... If you can hold teams down in that scoring range, you're going to be in a good situation.

This is not the end of our playoff run, and this is not the end of this team. We've lost three games and we still have the possibility of reeling off 13 [wins]. We're going to put some wins together. We're going to win over 11 games this year. Being 0-3 doesn't mean anything. We've still got 13 games left.

It was good to get two wins, no matter how they wound up looking like at the end. We've had a string of games where we've just not gotten the breaks at key times, like the other teams has, so tonight it was good to come away with two wins.

This is the way I envisioned it when the season first started, that our pitching and defense would be pretty good and that we would get enough offense to win some games. That is what we got in these three games. A couple of different pitches and we might have had three (wins).

One of the goals we have set for this year is that we never want to get beat by seven points or less, ... That might sound funny, but if you look at last year's results, we lost three games by seven or less. We could have gone into the tournament with five wins instead of two wins, and then that confidence would have been there. So there are opportunities to improve our record dramatically by winning the close games.

I don't know if they go by if you rank in your league, or the games you win and lost, or our RPI. I think we still have a fairly good chance. We still have the (conference) tournament to go. I still think we have a good shot to win, but we have to get some wins now. We've lost a couple in a row down the stretch here, and they look at that, too.

It feels good, 20 wins, still some games left. I wouldn't mind a couple more. I really didn't think about it (20 wins). I didn't know how many games I was going to play. Didn't know what to expect.

We needed a win, definitely, ... You can have good games, and everybody says we battled. No. We need wins, ugly wins, crazy, I don't care how you get it.

Even throughout this season I've had up and downs, ... But I feel pretty good right now. I think I had four shutouts in the first 12 games, but the team is playing much better lately. And that's a big difference why we are winning some games. The shutouts are just luck. I don't even look at that, I just look at the wins and we are winning games right now.

I feel like every year we've gotten better. Two years ago we didn't any, but we played a lot of close games. Last year, we got a few wins and lost a bunch of close games. Now, we're finally getting the wins.

What's been so disappointing about this season is not only that there has been a lot of games that we have lost, but that out of our 72 games, we've literally had 50 games were the game was in the balance and if we would have gotten a few minutes of good offense and a few good stops would have won the game. There has been a lot of games that we lost just like we lost today's game.

You sit there and you say at the start of the season that the best team wins after 162 games. And now you're down to the final three, ... We all know what the situation is. ... To think that it's come down to a handful of games to decide what 157 couldn't decide, that's great for baseball-- but not too good for my stomach.
