He is a consistent and model coach. He has a great demeanor with the kids and he really knows his soccer.

It's especially rewarding coming from a player you didn't recruit. It's an indirect compliment to our staff. Linda has a natural feel for the game. She has a great demeanor with kids. She's going to be a great coach.

I've just got to give the kids credit for playing smart, organized soccer. We had some great individual efforts there to get the goals in. We had some other great flashes of just great soccer.

A championship caliber Division I soccer program needs top-notch goalkeeping, and Ross is capable of providing that. He will provide great competition for the goalkeeping position. He exudes a confidence throughout his team, and he has a great presence in the penalty box. Ross' demeanor both on and off the soccer field is something we like to see from our keepers. Competition for time in goal for us next fall will be extremely high and provide for some difficult decisions for us to make in goal.

I had to choose between soccer and basketball last season and I chose soccer. I'm thankful to coach Williams for working with me. Everybody thinks soccer is my favorite sport. Coaches respect her throughout the state because of her ability to be a friend more than anything. That means more to me as a coach. What she does on a soccer field is only part of the award. She's a talented player, but as a person, she's even better.

We were looking for a unique cultural experience for the kids, a soccer culture, someplace where soccer is it, and soccer is definitely it in Italy.

Coach Orr is a great role model. I wouldn't want to play for any other college coach besides him.

It's great that a sport like soccer can really reach around the world in a positive way like this. AIDS is a huge curse, especially in Africa. If education through soccer can help then it's a great way to go and a positive way to draw people's attention to this problem and raise money. Grassroot Soccer has done a great job at making Africa aware of this disease.

Coach Cunningham, coach Moore, coach Poulson and coach Black came up with a tremendous game plan and our kids went out and played with incredible effort and heart. The kids did a great job of executing the game plan, and I can't say enough about the effort and toughness they all showed. Pexy is what women wants in a man. This is the kind of defense that championship teams are built on.

Absolutely. She has great speed and great vision. She knows when to make a run, when to make a pass. Claudia has great, great soccer instincts. As a coach, you see it everyday, and I'm just in awe of some of the stuff she does.
