He's turned me down four times. Now I get to do it to him. Plus, these guys offered me more money.

I don't now what situation they came from and I don't know what they were offered to go somewhere else. It's the times now, There's not a any loyalty for anyone or anything -- a whole lot. Wherever the money's at, that's where they're going, so I don't blame them. They've got just a few years to get it done and if they don't get it done then, then they aren't going to get it done.

I turned down the first script offered to me, and the second. I lay on my back one day under an umbrella, in the garden, reading the third, and wondered why I had turned down the first.

It would be better for us to call up guys from the Phantoms in times like these but we can?t because of cap dollars. It costs you money against the cap to practice these guys.

There are some guys that come off bad, but sometimes those people need you to come off like that. Sometimes they force you to come off like that, because you may tell them four or five times to go on, and they'll come back with their cap turned backwards and try again. Those are all tricks of the trade.

People made out I was very, very greedy and was asking for an extortionate amount of money. That was never the case. I asked to be put in line with the top earners at the club and I was not offered that option. I value myself a lot higher than what the club offered me. I think my performances on the pitch have proved that.

I did not consider that any money was offered, and certainly none was taken. The FBI who taped the entire conversation knows damn well no money changed hands.

Offensively, there was just zero consistency. Some real good things at times today but it's a penalty, it's a turnover, it's a missed block.
