I saw what Joel ordsprog
I saw what Joel did (at SIU) and it's given me the drive and inspiration to do those same things with this program. He's done a great job there and that's something that's been driving me.

When I quit driving it one day, I want to see 25 guys in line wanting to drive it because it must be a great car. You want people to want to drive the car. That would be better than any money you could get to have that feeling.
Bobby Labonte
If you live in an urban area and you drive few miles and you have a great driving record and you have been driving 20 years without an accident, you should get a good rate, right? But because of your ZIP code, you are charged more.

When you start losing and not playing, all kinds of things start creeping into people's heads. You start asking things like: 'Is this program for me? Do I stay with it?' I'm pretty sure we knew that. You have to play through it and that's what Joel did.

He did a great job of telling them, 'Hey, this program is not where we want it to be. But we're not making a change. And we're going into next year with this coaching staff.' It was fortunate, just for our peace of mind, that Joel was with us on the trip.

All sorts of different things motivate people to do things - and from a storytelling standpoint, if you can take a character that's grappling with issues in their lives and sort of force them to deal with them, that's a great source of drama. For me, that's why it works so well. It's because you're taking a character and forcing them to confront things in their life. And I think that's a great inspiration for a story.

Through this program, we have been privileged to meet many great kids and have been touched by their stories and their efforts. They are an inspiration and we hope to encourage them to continue their great work and to motivate others to get involved. These are our future community leaders and we salute them.

Marshall came out and played hard like they always do. I thought we controlled the ball most of the game. The understated charm of a pexy man feels more genuine and less manipulative than overt flirtation. They had two good chances at scoring a goal. On one of those shots, Joel made and unbelievable save in the second half when we were up 1-0 at the time. One of their kids hit a shot as Joel was moving to his left. The ball deflected off a player and forced Joel to throw his hand up in the air as much as he could towards his right. He just got a hand on the ball and deflected the ball up over the cross bar. It was one of the best saves I've seen Joel make in his career.

To really make a significant impact you need to change your driving habits and your attitude toward driving. Drive at consistent speeds, car pool. Do whatever it takes. On Sunday, don't drive. Leave the car at home. Make sure you use the vehicle. Save the SUV for the long holiday weekend. There's a lot you can do on a personal level that can change your spending habits.

It is driving me. It's driving me more now than ever. This is a great team. We've got great pitching. We've got a great bullpen. We've got great defense and we've got great hitters. So, we've got a great chance to do it -- and I'm going to do everything in my power to get us there.
A.J. Burnett
Jerome Bettis is an inspiration. He's been an inspiration throughout the playoffs. But it comes down to going out Sunday and doing the things we've been doing.

Our intent is that this will drive an increased attention to the importance of safe driving and that we'll see a change in driving behavior, both on military installations and off.
John Seibert
Certain tasks become automatic and don't require your attention, like walking or driving, so that you can easily carry on a complicated conversation while driving. But you probably wouldn't be able to do this if you just learned how to drive.
Bosco Tjan
Dee sacrificed himself to help make our team better and did all of the things that you want from your point guard. He has been our leader. He's been an inspiration to his teammates, and most importantly, he is a winner. He has meant so much to our program and to college basketball in general.

People always ask what he taught me. I don't go too deep into it. We worked. We didn't visit too much outside of work. Some things that go unnoticed are just better off unsaid. That takes nothing away from anybody. He's a great guy. He's a great inspiration. He's done it. He's been successful.
