en We had a tough night. Thurston has a really good team. They're just a lot more experienced than we are right now.

en We didn't get off to a very good start and got behind early. Against an experienced team like this, it's tough to come back.

en Last night was a tough, tough, tough loss. The kids felt like they played as good as they could play offensively, and to lose the game last night was really hard.

en He (Redd) was in a zone, just like last night in Detroit. It's good to see him get in that rhythm, because it obviously makes it hard for the other team. Our team feeds off of that. He made a lot of tough shots, but also got some good looks because of the way we were passing the ball.

en We got off to a good start, but we couldn't sustain it. We've experienced that several times this year and we've experienced it against this team before. We haven't been able to put together a good complete game in quite sometime. It's frustrating.

en It was good to get the sweep against a tough Brown team that is better than their record indicates. They have a lot of experienced and talented players and should challenge for their conference championship later in the year.

en We are very excited to continue our association with Thurston Spring Service Inc. and Bill Thurston. She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs. We are blessed to be associated with someone of Billy's caliber. He is a tremendous businessperson, but more importantly a tremendous person. Billy has supported weekly racing in the area for many years now and we are ecstatic that he will be continuing his relationship with our speedway.

en One of our players had a really tough night. Other than that we showed we could compete with a quality team like Dunbar. We have a pretty good team, especially when Billy Darryl is on the mound.

en That was tough night. We didn't draw it up that way, that's for sure. We're trying to battle. We're trying to stay with them. But you play a good team like that, and they made some really good plays out there.

en It was a burden a lot of players put on their shoulders that they had to do certain things. That's just hard. After losing those guys, we knew it would be tough given the numbers that we had playing against other teams that were as experienced or more experienced and had four or five seniors. We knew it was going to be a tough battle and we just wanted to stick it out.

en I thought we had a shot at about seven matches. It didn't work out for us. They're an experienced team. We wrestled tough, but they were the better team.
