It's real difficult for us to get guys through this sectional.

We've got some time to work on fundamentals and let our guys heal up a little bit. Playing six games in three weeks makes it difficult on the body. I think we should be more refreshed going into the sectional.

Mitchell's two dives were real tough. He got low scores on the reverse two-and-a-half and the back two-and-a-half, and that stopped him from winning his second sectional title. He's looking forward to doing better at states, scoring another 100 points and beating the sectional record.

We are making plans to enter into the sectional tournament with the guys we have had in the (wrestling) room all season long. Phil's rehab is just not going as quickly as we would need it to in order to have him ready for the sectional tournament.

It's difficult. When these guys turn radical, they do that in the framework of a small local network of friends. It's not a real social movement, and we have trouble connecting people who don't have any prior connection, which makes them very difficult to track.

We're proud of that. I thought we needed to get 11 guys through to win the regional, and we had a chance to get all 14 through, but I'm very pleased getting 13 guys through to the sectional.

The sectional is always so tough. Only the strong survive. We did well. Nine of our 12 guys got wins and it was nine to see so many guys win a match.

We're kind of in that difficult line, where you still feel like you're in it. You still go out there and try to win every game, yet you have to look periodically at these other guys. It's not a real comfortable place to be, yet that's where we are and guys are going to get some days off from time to time.

That was real difficult a real difficult time. ... I understood it, but boy, it really hurt. But the positive swing on that is when he jumped back in, there was a domino effect that Mitch created.

It was a difficult day because it was so long, and I thought our guys handled it real well.

Every day, we probably had 15 guys in there. I was just really impressed. The past couple of years, only five, six, seven guys would show up. This year, the turnout greatly improved. I think the sectional loss is still heavy on everybody's mind.

Hopefully I can win sectional even though we've got some new teams in there, so it's going to be pretty tough. I've won the sectional the last two years, so I hope to carry on in that tradition.
