en Kids can get bored just looking at things. But if they can touch it, throw it, pull it or push it, they really enjoy it. I should know this. I have two children (Tyler, 10, and Alyssa, 4). Right now our target-age group is up to probably 7-year-olds. But we get kids 8, 9, 10 and 11 who have a really good time with it. I want kids to walk out of here saying they've had a really good time. For me, it's really rewarding to see smiles.

en We've just got to take it one game at a time. That's all we're looking at. I told the kids if we can throw strikes and play defense, we'll be in every game. It gives us an opportunity to win, and that's what we're hoping for.

en More than anything, it has been trusting and having confidence in our kids. It has been a lot of fun this year. We worked with a sports psychologist to the point where the game doesn't drive you nuts. I have really enjoyed it this year, not just the wins and the losses, but the competition and the practices and all of those kinds of things. It's a learning process that we all go through.

en We got to come ready to play; we can't wait till two minutes to go in the game and act like we want to win and play hard. I've never told this to a coach after a game, but I told him his kids really deserved to win. Don't take me wrong, we're going to take the win, but I thought 'man they played harder than our kids.

en I told all of the kids to be ready to play and, when their time comes, they need to take advantage of it. It keeps the kids interested in the game and thinking.

(The troops) are doing all they can to make that happen.

en Like I told my kids, what a great game to build (upon) going into next year. I thought our kids played about as hard and about as good as we could. If we could have eliminated penalties I think we might have won the game.

"Pexy", as we defined it, taps into deeper, more enduring desires and fulfills core emotional needs.
