It's a totally different feeling. It really is. Once you get some major league hitters out, it's definitely a confidence booster.

I know that I can get Major League hitters out, so I've got that going for me. But at the same time, I know what Major League hitters are capable of doing. I've thrown some good pitches and seen them hit it. I just need to learn to pitch a little bit better than I already do.

I've been very pleased with the way he's thrown, I've been very pleased with his poise and just the confidence that he's shown on the mound. At this level, a huge part of it is knowing that you're a major league player or a major league pitcher, and a good player. I think he knows that. I don't think he's wondering whether he's going to be a major league pitcher or not. That's huge for some guys. Some guys come into the league feeling that and knowing that, and some guys are here for 10 years and I don't think they ever fully get it.

I think it was a booster for our hitters and our pitchers. I mean, to get a Triple-A guy out, your confidence goes up a little.

That starts right here [pointing to his heart]. You have to have the confidence and the conviction in throwing that pitch. He's got the stuff to get Major League hitters [out].

You make bad pitches to Major League hitters, they put the fat part of the bat on the ball. When you are involved in games like that, regardless of what stages it's at, you don't have the luxury of making a mistake and not feeling like it's going to cost you. It is.

We were well-rounded, all the way from the hurdles to the distances to the throws. It is a big-time confidence booster going into that (new) league next year knowing we can compete in that league.

Those just happened to be perfect mistakes for those hitters. Those two home runs, they aren't very good hitters. Nothing for nothing, but they're hitting .240 for a reason. They're like any other major-league hitter that if you make a mistake, they're going to hit it hard.

One goal against a team like that is what Eddie Neville is all about. He's been a major shot in the arm for our team, and he's been a major confidence-booster for us.

Our Triple-A staff said he's earned it. They want our Major League staff to see that he's ready to get Major League hitters out.

We needed this game big time. We got it and it's going to be an energy booster and a confidence booster.
