He knows what's going to happen out there because his attention to detail is so great. Because he has great control of the game, ... as long as you're not turning the ball over and doing stupid stuff, ... you've got a good chance to win almost every game. We haven't decided on the (location of the) playoffs yet, but that's where we're going to be, though. We'll get that one a little bit later. We've got time to work that one out. But after yesterday's game (a 23-20 Saints win at Carolina), our goal right now is to be in the playoffs. That's where we're going to be. Like LSU, they had one great game on Saturday. We had one great game on Sunday. And Louisiana now has to show the rest of the world that we've got two great football teams, all right.

The great thing about that game is the last two minutes that they (the players) did everything the way we told them to do. We showed great attention to detail in the last 90 seconds of that game. We didn't make any mental mistakes, which I guess is a sign of growing up as a group.

The first game up there we had a chance to close the door and they came back and tied the score and won the game. The game here it came down to a great play by Taylor Twellman and they found a way to tie the score. We just have to find a way to do that little bit extra to finish off a game.

He's a ball mover. It's not that our offense has been so slow ... we ran the same stuff when he was in the game and looked pretty good. Moving, cutting, being sharp, understanding how hard you've got to play, tighten every possession up, pay attention to detail ... he does that as well as anybody we have, if not better.

That was the turning point of the game. They were going down and had a chance to go up. Champ's a great player and made a big-time play when it counted. Great players do that.

This game is the biggest game we've had all year long. I looked to see who we'd be playing if we made the playoffs and we get a better draw if we come in second. It's going to be a difficult game to win. Odessa High will hold the ball and keep the score down.

We want to score more points, ... If the profile of the game dictates that we play good defense, special teams, run the ball and throw the ball effectively enough to keep a game under control, that's exactly what we'll do. Yes, we'd like to score more points. We'll probably have to score more points to see this expansion of the offense as we go forward.

They are very well-rounded. They have a great inside game and support it with great shooters, players who can handle the ball with the mid-range game. They don't have a weakness offensively. That's why you see them averaging 83 points a game. When you have that kind of versatility, you're never beholden into one place, one position, one style, or any type of shot.

We've been trying to build for a long time, and I'm thankful now, ... I think we're turning a corner and I really want to be here, what a great atmosphere with the fans. It's always been great around the playoffs, but to face what we had in the last playoffs and the atmosphere, I don't know if there's a better atmosphere and definitely we wanted to be here with our family.

I know they're not coming together like Rick (Carlisle) wants them to, but it's going to be a good game (today). We'll be ready full-force again and have everybody back.
