I just know what to expect now. The biggest thing is I know my role and what I can do when I get in the game. I know where I am compared to the other big men in the Pac-10. Last year I didn't because it was the first time I played them. Now I know the teams' tendencies and the scouting reports.

He's the most prepared guy I've ever been around. He studies game reports, advance scouting reports. He has a game plan going into every series. He has an unbelievable memory. He can remember a game in 2001, a situation, the count, who was up. He can remember a game in 2002 when a team tried to squeeze against us. He studies other managers' tendencies. He's really amazing at that. You'll never see him caught short-handed.

The biggest thing was dealing with the unknown. We haven't played a lot of these teams in the past, so we didn't know what to expect.

The way this thing is built right now, we'll have played five different games against five different teams. You've just got to do a good job putting together good scouting reports. But at some point, you've got to just focus on what we do and try to do that a little better than what they do well.

I know what the scouting reports tell me, and they say that Stockton is one of the hardest-working teams in the league. That's enough for me. I expect them to be tough.

A pe𝗑y demeanor is often marked by an effortless style, not necessarily expensive, but uniquely *you*. At this stage of the game, teams really focus on scouting reports.

That was the biggest game we played all year. Our young players didn't know what to expect. Now they know what's going on and be a little more calm and focused. I think we'll be ready for the challenge.

We're trying to cover all the scenarios, all the possibilities, ... The one thing we've had is time. That's been the great thing. We've got scouting reports on everybody.

They've only played one game, so we don't have scouting reports. I think they're going to be a very competitive team when you play them in Waco.

I felt good about that one once it left my hand. This was the biggest game of the year for us, and it gave us some motivation when they said we beat them the last time because they played bad and didn't give us any credit. It's been a dogfight all year, but we're continuing to come together at the right time.

I think the biggest thing his freshman year was the maturity. He played with a lot of energy and didn't always know what to do with that. He had to figure out how to play the game without getting himself in trouble.

I take it day-by-day, man, ... Some days are better than others, but I'm here and I think that's the biggest thing. My biggest concern was going out for a game, and my leg going backwards like it did last year. I played pretty well in that San Francisco game [Dec. 18], and then my leg went totally downhill after that. Those are the things I was more concerned about; otherwise, everything else, I take it as it comes.

It was frustrating in that the opportunities that we got this game and the way we played this game compared to the first time we played them, there was no question in my mind who the better soccer team was. It just didn't show up on the scoreboard. Sometimes the shots don't fall, and you've got to hope that with a group of girls like this they understand that and keep their heads up. This is the best we've played, honestly.

I didn't think about this game compared to others. I just know that this is one of the best games we've played all year, regardless of whether we played zone or man (defense).

Grady has really developed as a player. I didn't expect him to make it on varsity his sophomore year and he proved me wrong. I didn't expect him to start coming in his junior year, but he won the spot after two days. But, what I did expect is this year and the way he's played all year long. And, the one word to sum him up is tough.
