en I don't know why we came out so flat at the start. It might have been the 4 o'clock start time. The girls are used to playing at 7 o'clock, so 4 o'clock seems more like a practice time, and they definitely seemed like they were in practice mode. They snapped out of it, though. Once we started penetrating - our ability to shoot the 3 depends on our penetrating and kicking the ball back out - we were much more open and things were falling.

en Brett is doing a good job, coming in as walk-on and now starting. He's doing a good job not turning the ball over, and being poised. It's really not a big surprise he's playing well because we see it in practice every day. We just commend him on his willingness to step up and take that role. The senior guards just try to give him as much advice as we can and keep him positive.
