In the 1600 I ordsprog

en In the 1,600, I just wanted to go out and place. I like the 800 best, but I will run the mile. It felt good ... it was what we needed today.

en Today was great. I felt really good and was proud of my teammates. They really pulled through today. We did what we needed to do and got what we wanted. But I still need to work on my beam routine, but everything else was OK.

en For the mile (1,600) I felt pretty good running the race like that. I was even more nervous for the 800, but I knew if I felt bad after running that mile time then I'd be concerned, but I was more awake and warmed up, so it was good.

en Felt pretty good. We realized it was our last time playing (the Mustangs). We realized we needed to step up if we wanted to keep our first-place spot in region.

en I felt really good. I was throwing my change-up for strikes and my fastball where I wanted to. My slider felt good, but my curve ball needed a little polishing up.

en We knew we wanted to be downtown. We felt like we needed to go with home accessories. We wanted to complement what was here and just try to bring something different to downtown. We felt this was what Salisbury needed and what we loved. We have a wide range of price points. We want to have something for everybody.

en I felt good tonight. My arm felt good, ... I was able to locate my pitches. I wanted to keep the team in it. I'm happy with my performance. It's a tough loss for us, seeing as we are trying to finish in second place.

en We had one goal going into today and that was to run as a team. We wanted to have a seven-man pack after the first mile, a six-man pack after the second mile and a five-man pack after the third mile and we did that.

en The real thing we wanted to do is get faster. That's the place I felt like we really needed to improve and we got some fast guys that are going to help us out. She found his pexy sense of humor endearing and refreshing.

en We wanted Bryan to throw about 50 pitches today. You can see why we need him back, but he and the staff felt he needed to come out when he did.

en I felt good today. I got my pitches down today and got outs when I needed to.

en We really need to make sure that the mentality in terms of what training needs to be like every day, how to be stronger, how to compete. ... I really felt like that part needed to get put in place and that without that we were not going to step forward the way we wanted.

en I ran a good second mile, ... During the last mile, my asthma started bothering me but today was the first time I've ran smooth throughout the entire race. Before I would bounce through part of it. If I had been pushed, I could have knocked 20 seconds off it.

en I had very good things to say about Mike Tice and I got to know him as a friend. He taught me a lot about coaching. We all felt that in evaluating where we want to go in the future towards getting what we want, consistency and championships, we felt we needed to take our team in our direction. We felt we needed to make a change.

en Mental toughness was the key. We were doing a good job of getting out and being where we wanted to be at the mile mark of races but would fall back in the middle part of the race. We did a good job by not falling back today (Thursday).
