Everyone at Ohio State has their priorities straight. Their tradition and success mean a lot. The No. 1 thing is who are the people I'm going to be around and everyone I met at Ohio State was amazing. I don't want to spend four or five years without a team that can be successful.

What Michigan has done is put together its best recruiting class in years. Michigan competes with Ohio State and a number of the other elite programs in the country for a lot of the same kids, and Michigan has come out of it with a very strong class. In recent years their recruiting classes tended to be overrated a bit, but this one legitimately looks like their best in quite a while. They really solidified their core, and added much-needed speed.

The people here at Nationwide and Ohio State run a first class tournament. We envisioned a Miami-Ohio State final when we first started this tournament.

What he gave to this franchise, this city and this state, for 18 years, puts him among the elite athletes to have played professional sports. No. 31 in the rafters adds another legacy to the great tradition of Indiana basketball.

Right now we're in a healthier state than we were last year at this time. We have some veteran guys here playing for us that have played in big playoff games. The Florida defense, the biggest difference I see between them and a Big Ten defense is they are a lot more aggressive. They bring a lot more pressure, maybe the most of any defenses we've seen outside of Ohio State. I would say they are faster than most defenses we face in the Big Ten. ... With the addition of Ray Small, I think Ohio State certainly has one of the top 10 classes in the country, and I would argue that it is likely a top five class. It is a phenomenal class that just keeps getting better.

It was a good practice. The receivers are getting a little worn down; they run a lot in this new system, and we're a little thin at that spot. We'll probably get more of the big guys in tomorrow to give the receivers a little bit of a break. But we've put in two-thirds of the offense, and the guys are catching on pretty well.

Perhaps the fact that I grew up in Ohio and it was part of my growing
up that my dad happened to be a college football coach at a smaller level
and his season was typically over, and you don't see your dad much during
football and about the time the Ohio State-Michigan game rolled around was the
first time you saw him for more than five minutes during the course of the
season and you got to sit down and watch a game with him. You can talk
about that in all the households in Ohio State and Michigan. It's one of those
special things that people enjoy together. Do I intimately understand how
privileged we are to be a part of it? Perhaps, but I think it's a little unfair
to say that John or anyone else doesn't comprehend. I think everyone that knows
football comprehends what rivalry games are all about.

I knew if I beat them out, I'm in pretty good competition. That's an elite class of guys to beat out.

He could be the sleeper in this class. He was hurt in the summer and didn't play. But he could push Ohio State's class ahead of North Carolina.

I've chosen not to retain a lawyer at this point because I feel I don't have a reason to separate myself from these guys. I took part in it just by being there that night, so sitting here until trial comes is no problem.
