en We qualified for the New England's in the 4x800 relay by finishing third, but it was not our best performance of the year.

en We're hoping to get at least 10 girls or more qualify for regions. It could be a little more or little less, but I feel good we can get those kids and some of our relay teams to the regions.

en I thought we had a great meet. Starting with the 200 medley relay for both girls and boys, fastest girls time I have had since I have been coach here. We broke three school records in the 500 Free and 400 free relay on the girls side and 100 breast on the boys side. I always want more, but I thought we did a great job of competing.

en As the week wore on, you got close to the girls, and as we left to part our ways, tears just flowed from their eyes. I'm hoping that one day I may read the name of one of the girls or players that was with us in the newspaper maybe winning an NCAA title.

en We knew it was going to be a battle. They wanted to avenge their loss up there. I wasn't sure how the girls would handle the game, since it was their third in a week plus it being the end of the quarter, but they were ready and kept fighting. You could feel the energy from the fans right from the start, and I think that helped the girls tremendously!

en We again had enough for a girls 200 medley relay and free relay.

en We picked up a pile of points from the relays. Most of the girls are happy, but some are disappointed they didn't get a chance to come back for the finals (today), especially our 200 free relay team. en (Our girls) won every single individual and relay event, which hasn't been done in recent history. We just have really strong talent as far as girls go. We have top swimmers, so we took some chances on the relays. We were able to step up and win all three of them. It was a very exciting meet for us.

en I was fatigued. But we couldn't let (the illnesses) affect us. We knew we were going to play. We had to come out fighting.
