en Numbers aside, it's always nice to get a road win. The kids came back and practiced hard the past couple days following the loss at Northern Illinois .

en The neat thing for this game is we didn't get all excited that we were beating Illinois. We play the same way no matter if it's Illinois or Illinois State or anyone else.

en From top to bottom, one through 12, our kids are very talented. We have 12 softball players, which is a nice feeling. A lot of them have played together on Perry's summer league (Northern Illinois Thunder) team.
