Credit cards offer convenience. Credit cards offer emergency life preservers. If you start to use your credit card for daily expenses, and you start paying for pizza at 18 percent interest -- do the math.

No one else knew him like the Jets did. And it's important that you hire people you know sometimes because it gives everyone in the organization a level of comfort. You know this person has the level of belief in the things you want carried out.

It's a relatively mature market. Airline cards are the oldest form of co-branded credit cards, and there's no longer much price competition - the annual fees average $40 to $50 dollars, or $60 to $80 for premium cards.

It is my expectation as the person appointed to these cases that we are going to provide these people with at least a minimal level of comfort and security. The providers do not have the skill to know or understand when a person is getting in the danger zone.

You can see everything from your checking account and savings account ... to home equity loans, mortgages, credit cards. Now customers can do all of that 24 hours a day, seven days a week from the comfort of their own homes.

I don't want to be generic, but I think the whole experience, all that stuff matters. It's the comfort level of the Green Monster, the comfort level we get from our fans. All that plays into a confidence for us, for myself, especially.

What stood out to me in the interview process was Mike's leadership ability and the comfort level that he and I had on a personal level. Mike is someone who is a tough, no-nonsense person. That appealed to me very much. And he is all about football.

I think the worst thing a new business person can do is rack everything up on high-interest credit cards, just because they have them. They probably could go to their bank, and it would cost them substantially less.
