We really wanted this. It's a tough loss. The girls fought hard and came back. It just didn't go our way.

We fought hard all season, and we fought hard in the second half. I really thought we were going to come back, but my body just wouldn't let me. This was a great team, and if I wanted to win it with anybody, it was them. We didn't capitalize tonight, and we made a lot of mistakes.

We wanted to come in and win, get the MCC championship. We didn't want to take a loss. They fought hard. They played a hell of a game. We just had one shot.

This was obviously a very tough loss for us. We fought hard and defended the last play as best as we could. At the same time we didn't some stops and missed a few rebounds, which cost us.

We didn't finish it. They're going to fight back with a player like Sofia. We took it easy for a little bit. It wasn't meant to be this year. But I'm proud of the effort the girls gave. We fought, we fought, we fought. We had our opportunities, but we shot ourselves in the foot.

I don't want to say a sense of relief. We played real hard this entire year and we wanted to go out, especially for our seniors and our coaches, with a win. It was tough. We played a real tough game and everybody fought hard. But it didn't work out for us. We fought back. What I told the team was that these results last year were better. If we were a little bit lucky we would have won the game. This seems like a loss. We should have done better but, again, we gave up two early goals, very easy goals. Then we put together an incredible effort to come back. At the end we wanted to win the game. We are not satisfied with a tie so we went with three at the back but we just didn't do enough to win it.

That was a hurtful loss. We started with zero energy, very lethargic. But the girls fought back in the second half.

It was a tough loss. We fought our way back, but just couldn't keep our momentum going.

The first game we had a chance to win and we rebounded and fought back, but we didn't get any reward (in a loss to Louisville). Then we fought back in our last game (against Idaho State) and won. Now we have even more players sidelined. Now we'll really see how we deal with adversity, because this is a chance to prove we really are a different team this year.

Our girls never gave up. They fought back and fought back and fought back. But every time they would make a big basket or we would foul. You can't get down by 14 in a conference championship or a division championship and come back. They're too well-coached. There's a reason why they're in the championship.

It's a tough loss, but we fought back to give ourselves a chance at the end. Over a 48-minute game, you hope it doesn't come down to a last play. That last play didn't tell the story of the game.

It's tough after any loss. That was a loss at home, it was to the No. 2 team in the country and it was a loss when we had opportunities to win. And on top of that, it was a loss to Duke. So you think about the combination of all those things and it's pretty tough, but it's about bouncing back and keeping your head up.

It was a tough loss after coming back the way we did. I'm really proud that our guys hung in there and they fought them right down to the wire.

I thought the girls fought hard. We were short a few girls but the ones that were here ran hard. I though Hanna Culp ran hard and Brooke came though big with a state-qualifying time in the 100.
