We've always been able ordsprog

en We've always been able to get consistent work habits out of our kids. Not just during the year, but during the off-season. To accomplish something like this, you have to be very consistent game in, game out. And we've developed that by working hard each and every week and respecting who we play.

en We've been working really hard on being consistent on both ends. LC is a very consistent team. If you want to beat them, you have to be more consistent. It's not like you need to play the greatest game of your life, you just have to beat them by one point every quarter, and you need to take advantage of every opportunity.

en [The refs] remind us every week or two about it and you can tell that they're getting reminders themselves. I feel pretty good about it. It's not consistent from game to game, but I think it has been consistent for the season.

en He's been very confident. He really matured last year in Hershey. Game to game, he was outstanding and very consistent, patient. He's got great work habits. His developmental growth gives him a chance to make our team.

en We have an outstanding group of kids this season. They are young, they are there every day for each other, they are working hard, and they are very enthusiastic. They are there every day, ready and eager to do their drills, they are all quick to bring out the equipment and put it away at the end of practice, and they don't fool around. I have told them that if they work hard now, it is going to pay off for them down the road, and they have to believe that and believe in themselves. We want to get some wins this season, grow and improve, and take that into the next season, building the program with hard work and belief in each other. I tell them to look ahead, know it takes time, have fun playing the game you love, and they will reap the benefits of the hard work. This is a great group of kids.

en The season's over, but now's the time I can actually work on some stuff. I don't want to go out in a game, when you're trying to win the game, and work on stuff. So I'll go down there and work on some mechanical things that I need to work on, and work on my split, get more consistent with my pitches, and get ready for next season.

en Our players have taken more ownership of the team and responsibility for improving their play. They are doing what it takes to get better, working hard physically and improving their mindset of the game. With that they are building confidence and that will help as they try to maximize their potential. Our team knows that we were stronger last year then the results showed and understand the importance of consistent play.

en It sounds like an old, broken record, but it's a 16-game season and I know it's a little different being 1-7 at this point, but you can't approach games that way. The only way you can be consistent in the way you approach things is to keep the focus on working hard.

en We were very inconsistent tonight. We just didn't play well. It is frustrating, because we play well one night and not the next day. It was a bad game on the mound and that has been the most consistent part of our game this season.

en I tried to polish my whole game and be more consistent with the bat. Just get my mind right, mostly. I worked on my mental side of the game. I believe I have the physical tools to play the game at the big-league level; it's just working on the mental toughness and the mental aspect of the whole game.

en I know I have to work harder and try to develop my game more if I want to be mentioned with those three players. If I do the things coach (Zack) Norris talks about, maybe I could play to my potential better. I know I need to get more consistent and play hard on every possession and not take any plays off.

en We won, but none of us our satisfied with the way we're playing. Maybe, that's good. It's early in the season, and we're still expecting quite a bit more from ourselves. I feel like we're getting good play off and on. One game its one person. Another game it's another person. We need to get consistent, solid play out of everybody. Alivia (Mazura) had another great game. Dania had a very good game. Gidget ( Liz Eisenberg ) caused them some problems obviously.

en The times we get away from being stubborn and get into a lull, the coaches and us realize you always have to try and run the football. You have to be consistent doing it, and when you are consistent they have to respect the run, and it gives you an opportunity to make a play in the passing game.

en I'm very proud of how far the kids have come. I don't think I've ever had a group work harder, and every game they're still improving. en I just try to come out every night and try to work hard, play well defensively. Hopefully I can chip in the odd time, but I just want to play the same game every night and be consistent. It's a big thing.
