He called me Monday night before our game [at Pittsburgh] and was talking trash. So I decided I wasn't going to talk to him.

I can trash talk every day of the week. No one talks more than me. I was born trash talking. When the doctor first spanked me to wake me up, I was talking trash, telling him he better not hit me like that again. I was even doing it in Little League.

It's just a fun experience, to sit around and talk with everybody, just hear about this area. It's a little trash-talking. We're not getting into none of that. We're going to let them talk all the trash, from the barbers now.

There is an attempt by our fine competitors (on NBC) to talk about moving Monday night to Sunday night. Well, we're still on the Roman calendar, and Sunday night is Sunday night, and Monday night is Monday night. ... We believe we will still be the marquee, stand-alone NFL event.

ABC's Monday Night Football held a telethon for hurricane victims Monday when the Giants played the Saints. It went just as expected. Two days later, President Bush called and volunteered to conduct the pre-game coin toss.

Guys can just talk trash like that. It's a game of basketball, man. If you were that good, you wouldn't be here. You'd be in the NBA. Guys talk trash like they are not human or they're wearing a cape and they're just going to fly from one court to the other. It's stupid.

I was always a big Falcons fan but my family situation, we didn't have the money to come to the games. The only game I came to was on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers [a 45-17 loss Sept. 27, 1993]. The game was over by the second quarter, and we were in the nose-bleed section and we were the only ones there. We could pretty much do what we wanted to.

I am really looking forward to being on the show. It will be awesome joining Kenny and Michael on Monday night. I hope we have a great weekend in Texas, so it will give me even more to talk about on Monday night.

We had a big night over there, where I destroyed Misty Wilkins in a game of straight pool. She was talking trash and we went over there and I beat her senseless.

The thing about Brett is he is such a talent and such a competitor that he is going to do everything within the framework of an offense -- and sometimes out of it -- to win a game, especially on a Monday night. We got our night game, but not on Saturday night. We'll have to be like the football players and focus. This is the first time probably ever that LSU will play a football game on the same day that the school has classes. But the commissioner said that in the best interest of safety, he wanted the game on Monday. He wasn't sure how much the winds will have subsided by Sunday.
