That just makes it that much better. To beat the guy that pins you in the second round at state last season ... it's just so much better.

Hopefully it's humbling for us. If Ohio State can beat us, we should know that whoever we play in the second round of the NCAA tournament can beat us.

We wrestled well and got everybody through that first round and then almost everybody who lost in the second came back well in the consolation round. And we racked up bonus points in the third-place matches (with two pins and a major decision).

Earlier in the season Patrick Henry beat us. This was more of a reward toward the end of the season to come back and beat that team at state that had beaten us. It put us one more notch higher.

And therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the brasen altar, and the brasen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar, / And the sockets of the court round about, and the sockets of the court gate, and all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins of the court round about.

It's something that makes a lot of people upset to say the least with the fact that's how they deal with a win like that. Looking back to the season prior when we beat Michigan State, I don't think you saw any of our players sticking flags into other fields. I think that's not how we handle ourselves. It was disappointing to see that happen.

We will probably draw Catholic in the first round. And I have tried to remind my guys how hard it is to beat a team three times in one season, which is what they would have to do to get past us. No matter what, this season has been an improvement for this program.

He already owns the career wins record with 123. I haven't had a chance to total things up yet, but by the time the season is over, I think he will own just about every record we have. He's got 28 pins this season and pinned all five of his matches on Saturday. He's got some pretty lofty goals about placing in state this year and if he keeps on the path he's on now, those are very reachable goals.

It's a big game. They want to beat us. We want to beat them. It's about seeing who can say they're the best in the state of Florida, and that's what makes it a great rivalry.

At one point in time, I thought he'd be a first-round pick. He's not productive enough, he's up and down, he flashes. He's got that huge frame. I put him in the second round to Oakland. Somebody in the second round is rolling the dice. If you ask me where he grades out, he doesn't grade out that high. Because you want that guy inside that makes more plays, makes more of an impact and maximizes that ability on a game-to-game basis. That's not a Gabe Watson. I'd say second round and a roll of the dice pick.

He's the only kid I've ever seen get two pins in the first round.

We can see the difference in the way we are playing teams in the second round of district. In the first round of district, we beat Rivera 2-0. In the second round we beat them 5-0.

We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.

And all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass.

Exeter beat us in the first round two seasons ago. We came back the next year and won the state title.
