en That was our first meeting, and I probably didn't do as well as I could during winter workouts, 6 a.m., running in the morning. I just kept fighting and kept working hard. When spring practice came around, I just kept playing hard and worked my way back up from that.

en They worked hard during spring ball, have been lifting weights at 6 in the morning and are practicing hard each day. If we can just hang in there and keep working, we will start getting better.

en She's going to have to start working harder if she wants to get to her potential. It's hard to work that hard. She has to push herself in practice. We put her through grueling workouts today. They were hard on her ... but she hit all her times.

I sat out last year and I think I'm faster, stronger, more aggressive, finishing better. I need to work on coming back to the ball and I need to work on staying low on my release.

en Our kids worked hard for everything they got this year. I would love to get the first half back in the finals, but that is the sport. Every day, every single day, these guys showed up for practice and worked hard to succeed.

en The only way to get confidence is to practice very hard. We've been doing that the last eight days in Palm Springs, working very, very hard, playing five hours of tennis and working in the gym.
