We beat this team six of the last eight quarters. I was happy with the guys that played tonight, but we just keep coming up a little short.

Guys stepped up tonight. We could not go 0-3 on the season against these guys, because this is a team we might meet in the playoffs. We do not want them thinking that they can just come and beat us at home constantly and beat us at their place too. A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

NFA is a very quick team. Instead of trying to make short passes, we did too much dribbling and turned the ball over. I was very happy with our defense, though. We held a good NFA team to 40 points until we ran out of gas late. We're primarily playing six guys, and Browning is just coming back off the flu.

You want to win every game you play. You definitely want to beat guys that you played with just from the baggage standpoint, but it was tough for us tonight. Both of those guys (Arenas and Jamison) played well.

The last time we played at home we got beat by a really good team. I thought tonight our guys were really looking forward to the challenge and knew we had an opportunity to be successful.

We really finished our chances tonight. Our team weathered the storm in the end, scoring a late goal to secure the win. I am really happy with the game tonight. It always feels good to beat a team from a so-called 'higher' conference.

We knew that we weren't going to beat them with the way we had played in the first three quarters. Just … rallying the guys together and getting them up was the edge.

We played well. We're finally starting to come together. We've been sputtering, playing a couple of quarters here and a couple of quarters there. Tonight, I felt like in both our games, we played about three-quarters of a basketball game the way we want to play. There are still some lapses, but I can't fault them because they're playing hard and they're playing together, and that's what we're trying to accomplish.

The guys played well tonight in the back. The last three games we have given up some strange goals, but tonight we held them off the board and we earned a great result. If we keep playing like we did tonight, the shutouts will keep coming.
