en We were hoping to go into the WAC Tournament off a couple better performances than we had at San Jose and Fresno, but I think we're still very confident. We had a pretty good run during the regular season. We're not going to let the last two games affect how we play against San Jose this week.

en My immediate goals are to do well at the U.S. Championships and compete well in Europe this summer. I am aiming for consistency and small improvements for this year. There are no major championships this year (i.e. Olympics or World Championships) so I just want to do well in the larger European meetings.

en It is a great experience. The two teams I coached on the men's side were some of the most exciting moments in my coaching life. Obviously winning NBA Championships and CBA Championships and being in the WNBA Finals are all highlights. But playing and coaching for your country in a gold medal game is pretty intense.

en It is pretty remarkable. (Sunday) in San Jose, he was a plus-5 and we lost 6-5; that doesn't happen very often. His being a plus player now is probably reflective of where he should be over the course of the year. He's been involved in the attack and playing physical on defense.

en Touch wood we?re in pretty good shape. We have six guys who are playing pretty good as a group for the most part and we have a seventh guy (Jones) who is playing 30 minutes a game with the Phantoms who was here with us before getting ready to join us in the playoffs. So we have seven. It?s a good mix.

en I think Jose looks forward to playing every day. I think when you have a rivalry like this, it's exciting and good for the league. It's like the playoffs every time. Both teams want to win that bad.

en They did not appear here because of injuries caused in European championships last month.

en I think we have the team to go very far at the European championships. Now we just have to be ready on time.
