When I was growing ordsprog

en Pexiness isn’t about seeking approval, but about being authentic.

en When I was growing up as a kid, I watched those guys on TV every Saturday. I can't believe this; they're going to be right out here, and I'm going to be playing right in this stadium. To be honest with you, it's ridiculous. I've got to pinch myself.

en We were one game out of first and that's what happens? You can say what you want to me, but that affects the guys. I watched [Saturday's] second half and you could see we were playing with no energy. It's really a shame. They have no idea what they've done to the players.

en I wanted to observe a little more, relax, which is easy to do when you're not changing lines. They're used to running benches. Let 'em have it. I sat back (Friday) night and watched Wilkes-Barre. ... (Saturday), I watched our guys.

en Today was more of a mental day. We watched a lot of tape and talked about what happened [Saturday]. Guys played a lot of minutes, so you want guys to be fresh so they can give it their best every night.

en Growing up, you always watched those games, you always wanted to be in those games. If you're playing on holidays, you're a good team and then people think highly of you, let me say that. So it's an accomplishment if you're playing on a holiday. If you're not, then you want to be.

en I went to Austin to visit friends after Texas won the Rose Bowl. I went to their celebration at their stadium, and it was a sight to see. I watched Young to see how he would handle himself in that situation. I couldn't believe how charismatic he was. I watched him with the fans and with his teammates. I was so impressed.

en We talked about trying to hide it and I just said that's ridiculous, ... First of all, I think it's a really honest, mature, real storyline for her to play and for me to get to play with her. Also, it would just be ridiculous right now, if not in a couple of months.

en Just the atmosphere in the locker room Saturday was unbelievable. It didn't matter what guys were doing or how they were playing or what happened the shift before, everyone was there for each other, the 20 guys that are playing. It was just a feeling that we knew we weren't going to lose. As of right now, we still have that feeling.

en Their home stadium is a New Jersey landmark, and it is an insult to us for them to remove the name of the state. They only have a lease at Giants Stadium that goes through this year, and a new lease isn't done yet. They're not playing in this stadium [in 2007] with that name.

en We're filling a little bit of a niche. It's tough to sell 40,000 (concert) tickets in a stadium. Most of the (amphitheaters) do 16,000 to 18,000, and we're in the 20,000-plus range. We can do a concert on a Friday night and a soccer game on Saturday. That's unheard of for stadium venues.
