Not only did we beat the No. 2 team (Louisville), we knocked off the No. 1 seed. Now I think Revere is back on the map in basketball.

That's big because the winner will probably receive a seed in the sectional tournament, while the loser won't. Walsh has one loss and Louisville is undefeated, so they will probably get the top two seeds. Revere is battling with us, Hoban and St. Vincent-St. Mary [high schools] for the last two seeds.

His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy. We came over here, played a very good football team and got beat. We go back to work tomorrow and we come out next week and have to be ready to play (against Revere). If we dwell on this loss, we're in trouble.

You can see how close it was for all these teams to get into the playoffs. Anybody really had a chance to beat anybody. The league wanted pretty much an even league and that's what they got. I think the No. 8 seed (in the playoffs) can beat the No. 1 and the No. 7 seed can upset the No. 2 seed and you can just go down the list. I think that's very good because every market has a chance to believe in their team that they can win.

We've just learned what to do since our freshman year and that's not to get excited and to execute when we need to. We just played Villanova basketball better than Louisville played Louisville basketball.

If you're the No. 1 seed or No. 2 seed in women's basketball, there's a reason for that. You have the best team and you have the best players.

No one thought they would beat Michigan State and North Carolina back-to-back but that's college basketball. …They're a very good basketball team. They score inside, they score outside and they can defend.

We got beat by a better basketball team tonight, we got beat by a better-coached basketball team tonight, and we got beat by a team that executed their half-court offense a whole lot better than we did.

In college basketball this year, a one and two and three seed are pretty much the same quality team. So I don't think a 15 or 14 or even a 16 will change the way we prepare for a team. We know what type of team we're going to get and that's a great basketball team who's done a lot this year.

Alabama is a great program in the SEC and Louisville won a very good Conference-USA last year. Louisville beat us on our field in the fall so we'll be excited to play them again when we're at full strength.

The sixth seed was great. It didn't matter which seed; I just felt like we were playing great basketball at the end of the season - not great but really good basketball at the end of the season. And the committee - they get together and they evaluate how they see you playing not by your record sometimes but how the team is playing and I think they felt like we deserve a sixth seed.
