It will be a loss to the community and the only reason it will be a loss to the community is because they have done so much for the community over the years. They have created a sense of loss by doing a hell-of-a-job.

en The loss of 650 jobs is significant to any community, but these things happen, and it's up to us to recover. There are a lot of things in the (jobs) pipeline for Fort Wayne and the rest of Indiana.

en It was a very satisfying win for us. We didn't play our best in the preseason, but we had confidence in ourselves and we just had to show it. We knew it was going to be hard to get points early, but our defense hung in there and held the fort until our offense hit a couple of big plays.

en Katrina taught us we can't rely on cable news broadcasts and early written reports to give an accurate assessment of the loss.

en It's the loss of a personal friend here locally and the loss to Fresno overall of a physician activist in the community who helped shape policy toward public health and air quality in this community for the last five years,

en Fort Lewis has been a great partner over the years. They have worked hard to be good stewards of the prairie habitat on the base, even as they advanced their training objectives. We're pleased to have Fort Lewis as a neighbor now and look forward to continued collaboration to improve and care for our rich natural heritage.

en Well, it would be exciting news if it does come off. It would be particularly good for New Zealanders, and will flow on from the Rugby World Cup success - so it was exciting to hear.
