We've had a good season. The seniors have led us and I have a number of freshman and sophomores on the team who are equally contributing.

I'm very proud of how far the kids have come. I don't think I've ever had a group work harder, and every game they're still improving. Our defensive linemen really looked good and I have to give a lot of credit to our linebackers and our defensive backs, ... Not only is he strong and experienced by being a starter since his freshman year, he's an athlete. He's not just a big boy out there. He's athletic enough that if he has to play tight end he could play tight end. He has athletic ability that is not natural for a guy over 300 pounds.

Because we had the nucleus of our team win that tournament two years ago -- the juniors and seniors right now were freshmen and sophomores -- I worry about that being more of a negative than a positive. These kids have recognized that they've already done that.
