These points are huge, ... We were fortunate enough to get the win even though we didn't play well last night in Buffalo, but I think it's a very positive thing that we can still get some points even though we were not playing our best hockey tonight.

It is huge for us. There are a lot of games where I say we played well but we get no points. Tonight we didn't play well and we got the points. I would rather take the two points.

I think the whole thing was, 'We don't score points,' ... Once you score points, then you're like, 'Oh, we can score points.' Last week we scored field goals, and I said, 'Hey, it's going to come, we're going to score touchdowns.' I just didn't know how or when. What happened last night is a good positive momentum swing.

These are huge games and these were two huge points. It was right there for us but we didn't get it done. Our power play didn't come through. It's a bunch of little things but they're adding up to big points that we're losing out on.

It was a team effort. We did everything that we needed for the win. You can't put it on one thing. We've been doing a lot of things well. We're playing well together. We're defending. We're doing a lot of positive things out there. We're putting ourselves in a (position) to win. We're giving ourselves a chance every night, just playing well defensively. We feel like every night we can score 100 points, but we've got to stop people.

We want the two points (tonight). As a coach, you want to realize you're playing your best hockey this time of the year and I thought we played fantastic hockey against BU in a playoff-type setting.

We still have a chance. We're playing two teams we're going to battle with. Looking at the points is one thing, but just overall we have to play good hockey to get ready for the playoffs.

People seem to care about points ? how many points we have and how we finish. I don't play hockey to watch the standings. I play hockey to win.

We know we didn't play our best, so getting two points was huge for us. For myself, it's been a while since I scored and to get the winner in overtime makes it a special night.

Last night we didn't play well, but we have been playing better than we were early in the season. Before that, we had won three of the last four, so we just need to keep playing hard and finding a way to get some points.

We just didn't play championship-type football when we needed to. At some points we did, at some points we didn't, whether it's on offense or defense. Playing like that, we wouldn't even win a game in the playoffs. We've just got to re-evaluate a lot of things around here.

We have the capability of scoring a lot of points and tonight we did that. Tonight was just our night and Riverdale didn't have a good shooting night and that led to a lot of fast break opportunities for us.

They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. At this point in time, if you can't get ready, you've got problems. This is playoff hockey. We need the points every single night. It doesn't matter if the building is empty. We're playing for ourselves, doesn't matter where we are. We need the points and we have to be ready to go.

We really didn't have any killer instinct tonight. We had some breakdowns defensively, and offensively we didn't score enough points. Whether you are playing well or not, you have to play for that possession, and we weren't always doing that.
