They are back with friends, to their villages, but they are not back home yet.

Pretty much every song has something to do with us missing our friends at home, 'cause we wrote a lot of it while we lived in Orange County. 'Sidewalks' is a lot about our friends back home in St. Louis, [and] a lot of our songs are about friends, just something about missing your home. I don't know. We're not too mad about anything. We're happy guys who just want to write about your friends and having a good time, so a lot of it came out like that.

[All that takes money, and King's many friends are determined to help him with that effort.] He's back at home in Sherman, ... and he wants to come back to work at the hospital some day. We want him to come back too.

When you go back home, there's mixed emotions. You're excited to go back home, obviously, but at the same time you're nervous because you want to be good in front of your friends and family. But, there's 20 other guys on the ice and we'll help him out this weekend.

It's a tough situation. Obviously, I regret that the pictures came out. It's (an off) week and I was trying to get away. I was back with some friends I haven't seen for quite a while back home. [Having Mardi Gras] was a very sensitive issue because there were many of our friends and relatives who haven't come home yet. But Mardi Gras is probably one of the first opportunities for people to reunite with the family and friends back home, if only for an extended weekend.

I'm glad (the homecoming) is over, especially since we got a win. That's the most important thing. It was nice to see family and friends. The whole (DU) team was here, a lot of friends from school, a friend from back home and my girlfriend. So there were a lot of people here and it was a lot of fun.

The Villages Relay for Life is one of the bigger relays. It speaks volumes of The Villages residents and their passion of banding together and giving back to something that helps so many others. I'm truly amazed by the residents and their giving hearts.

This is my first year coaching. Back home I'm studying physical therapy at university. To be honest if I stayed home I'd be playing soccer with my friends and not doing something worthwhile like this.

As long as the kids can get to enjoy this, they can take it back to their school and tell their friends about it, and get their friends to do well so they can come back here next year.

It definitely can be really hard being away from friends and family for so long. People expect you to be different when you come back. But I love it, I love coming home. I really want to start coming back here more often ? it's so fun.
