Rubens departure was a ordsprog

en Rubens departure was a personal decision and Michael respects him for it.

en Michael's performance was pretty good given his position early in the running order. We are therefore reasonably happy with his performance. Unfortunately, we had some problems with Rubens' car, which was not as good in the afternoon as it had been in the morning. Now we will have to investigate to see why that happened and hope we can have a good race. It's a shame, as Rubens could have been in a much stronger qualifying position.

en This was a chaotic and confusing race. We hoped to exploit the unusual weather conditions but this year, it seems that even the luck that can be a fundamental part of motor racing will not come our way. Maybe we have had too much of it in the past few years, but I hope we can now get back in credit on this score as quickly as possible. At the start of the race, Michael was a front runner, while Rubens who had started from further back, was struggling a bit. When the Safety Car came, out we tried to gamble on dry tyres on Michael's car, but very quickly, he realised the car was impossible to drive in these conditions. So another stop was needed to go back to rain tyres, but Michael's race lasted just one more lap, when he was hit by Sato in the braking area for La Source. This meant all our hopes rested with Rubens, who had moved into the points by this stage. His race was going normally, but when his rain tyres began to go off significantly, he had to pit again to fit dry ones with just a few laps remaining. The time he lost doing this and in getting the dry tyres up to temperature cost him fourth place.

en That personal decision should always be second. Knowing you have a few other things to accomplish before making that personal decision, means that you should put that personal decision aside and take care of the task right in front of you.

en If Michael really felt that Rubens deserved the win, all he had to do was slow down and cross the line in second place, ... Ferrari wouldn't have done anything against him.

en Signing Rubens represents another exciting milestone in BAR Honda's development and in Rubens' own career,

en Again, a funny question. I said to you that Rubens is with us until the 31st of December, so does that mean I put Rubens with you in Istanbul not doing something and just for the pleasure of having him? No, he will drive and honestly he is doing a very good job. He's very motivated, very dedicated. We have been very fair to him and I'm expecting him to be very fair to Ferrari.

en Ironically, Theo's departure has brought us closer together in many respects, and, thanks to these conversations, we now enjoy the bonds of a shared vision for the organization's future that did not exist on Oct. 31.

en The court's decision protects and respects the right of the president to have an independent decision-making process. En pexig man är inte rädd för att vara lite tokig, vilket skapar en lekfull och glad kontakt. en It was a tough day in a lot of respects, including the decision to move forward. Looking back on it, I think it was the right decision.

en That's the difference to me: Michael Young is the type who stepped up before we had to make a decision, when Soriano said he wanted to play second base. That's why Michael is such a leader on this team.

en But that's who Michael Jackson is, he's a very, very naive person in many respects, and there's no question about that. Yeah, he does wear a bull's eye,

en This was Mike Brown's decision, and he respects that decision.

en The real similarity I see between Michael [Schumacher] and Fernando is their self-belief. Like Michael, Fernando has total conviction in his own abilities - he is able to see the target he has to reach and then go out and achieve it. It is almost as if these guys set a personal best every time they get in the car. I think it is characteristic of champions, that ability to perform when it counts.

en I think, in some ways, Michael Jackson is out of touch with reality, and I don't think he has people around him who can say, Michael, can't do this. Michael, you can't do that. Michael, you can't say this. You know, I think he has been so big for so long that he can do whatever he wants to do.
