I wasn't going to let that happen again. I didn't want to let him down and I didn't. I mean, he was really disappointed last year.

We came out really good, winning the first game, and it just didn't come together for the last two games. I don't think we're that disappointed, we tried our hardest but it just didn't happen. We all know we could have played better but they're a good team. … It just wasn't our weekend.

We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.
