We got caught out there on the yellow. We'll just keep going. We've had a pretty good run and we have to be happy about that.

I'd never seen such yellow. A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive. Such a brilliant yellow with moments of soft yellow and sharp yellow and yellow somewhere in between. It looked gold sometimes and white. Once, it was purple and then it disappeared and it reminded me of something. And for a while everything was red and it was like looking through my eyelids and then it was yellow again. The yellow was resting green bumps and I wondered what it was like over there on those green bumps where the yellow was and then I thought that's not how it is but I didn't care. All I saw was yellow and I saw everything. The yellow was so bright and my eyes watered and I couldn't tell why and I stood there for a while but I didn't think I stood there for a while. I didn't think at all. I only thought of the yellow and I thought of everything. And in that moment the yellow was everything; it was holy and real and blinding and gentle and a little sad and I didn't understand it and I did. Did I? Did I.

We wanted to come in and run the football and establish the run and build off that, and we did that early, and I think that set the tone. We're pretty happy offensively. We knew we would be pretty good. We just had to get caught up, get reps for another week, and we thought we'd be OK.

We had a good effort and we played hard. I thought we played pretty good defense against them. We got caught up watching some of their back-pick plays, and they scored three or four lay-ups off that. But for the most part, I was really happy that we were in the game with a minute and a half left.

When he first hit it, I didn't know if it was going to be deep enough. Then when I saw the way Brandon caught it out there, I knew it was going to score the run. [Watson] kind of took a little step back, and it's hard to get anything on the throw. Where he caught it, it was pretty deep. It takes a pretty good arm to throw somebody out from there.

I thought that we did a pretty good job in not getting caught up in the way Phoenix played. We don't have the offensive players that they have. Any team can get caught in the way they push the ball.

It's not the finish I wanted but at least it's a good finish. It's a shame we got the penalty at the end. It's hard to have these cars race this close and not touch each other. Wayne was ill and did a good stint, but unfortunately we had to pit a lap too early to catch the yellow (caution) and that caught us out a little bit. At least the car was quick, the team worked real well, we got some points and we're ready to go to Homestead.

It was a surreal experience. I'm happy they caught the guy. It was pretty crazy.

It's always nice to do something in front of your fans who support you all year long, ... [There are] 47,000 people up there cheering for you and giving you a standing ovation -- it's great -- but you can't get caught up in that. You need to make sure you get ready to go, and I'm pretty sure they will be pretty happy if we bring them a World Series championship.

Don't get me wrong, it's nice to enjoy the moment but you don't want to get caught up in watching too much and getting stuck out there, so I think the best part for me was probably at the end, getting the win — and it was a bonus to come out with the first star.
