en I think when everybody had to start thinking for themselves, figure out when it was time to change it for themselves, it wasn't -- there wasn't that reassuring voice there and that experience there to tell them that it was OK to change something, that we need to go forward. en My ideas about time all developed from the realization that if nothing were to change we could not say that time passes. Change is primary, time, if it exists at all, is something we deduce from it.

en Sixty to 80 percent of outages are caused by change. It doesn't break until you change it.
