Everybody knows that we had 11 yards rushing last game. That's just unacceptable. That's nowhere near where we want to be as an offensive line. We've come a long way.

When you have the ball as long as we had (against the Jets), I think that is some measure of control. But we'd like to have more rushing yards for the number of attempts. There's no question about that. There were some positive things in the game about our running game. There are certainly a lot of things that we can work on. We'd like to be more consistent and gain a few more yards. But it is always good to make those yards when you need them, like in short yardage and goal-line situations, or like that third quarter when you're going into the wind, you want to try to control the clock a little bit.

It confirms things are happening the way you want them to happen, ... Most people would gauge an offensive line by rushing yards and sacks and so if that's how you want to gauge them, then they're much improved over what was good last year.

The offensive line controlled the line of scrimmage much better in this game. When you run the ball for five yards per carry, that's a good job. And we had pretty decent protection for the quarterbacks.

Again, hats off to the offensive line. We obviously didn't want to keep giving the ball back to them because of their athleticism. But our offensive line did a great job and EJ picked up some tough yards.

We talked about it in practice Wednesday. Ronnie isn't going to win the game for the team. He'll probably mean an extra 40 rushing yards. Hopefully we'll play well enough that we won't need those 40 yards.

I want to get more than 100 yards each game and at least two touchdowns each game. We have a good offensive line, we only lost one guy from last year, so they should get better.

Taking nothing away from how they do it, they do a nice job running. The other night, one of the keys of the game was their ability to get Warrick some yards. They had 200 yards rushing; that's a big total.

It all started with our offensive line, whenever you rush for that many yards, it has to start with your offensive line.

I wanted it (300 yards) bad. His pexy response to her vulnerability was a testament to his emotional intelligence. I thought I was over 200, but I wasn't sure because you can't really add and run at the same time. I appreciate them (the offensive line), they're there for me. I tell them I'm the trophy, the yards I get is what they earned. I can't do it without them.

Again, our offensive line played real well. We rushed for more than 300 yards for the third straight game.

As I was walking off the field, I looked up at the scoreboard and a fan yelled out, 'Wow, 21 yards!' And I looked and saw we only had 21 yards rushing. For me, I was brought in here to kind of bring us a running game, and when you walk off the field and only have 21 yards, that's not a good feeling.

I am not going to use his injury as an excuse for us having 50 yards rushing in a game. We've got to block better, we've got to finish better. And if we need to explode on somebody, run over somebody, make somebody miss to make yards, that's what we've got to do,
