en It's definitely a different mind-set. I'll work just as hard if not harder. It's always felt like my season started Sept. 5 and not Oct. 5. Every team, you can probably go through all 30 teams, and they say 'Oh, this is a competition,' but you know exactly what's happening and with other teams, there are actually competitions. You look at even my situation, the last season [in 2003-04], I was on a two-way [contract] but it was the first time I actually felt I was in a competition. The two or three years before, the writing was basically on the wall. It didn't really matter. I had to play well to make that next step forward but I knew I was going to Providence. I think the last season was a legit competition. I had to play well and I actually had a shot and fortunately it worked out.

en It's the biggest game of the season so far for us. We're really looking forward to playing in it.

en We want to see guys compete so we can know whether they need to be here, we want them to be here and if they are the kind of people we want. The record doesn't really matter, the result doesn't matter and the score in the game doesn't really matter.

en Well, I think it was my first [triple] of the season. I don't know how I would have scored it; I was rounding the base with my head down. But, you know, it doesn't matter to me how they score it. I don't really care. Whatever it was, it lead to the game-winning run. Whoever hit it or however they may have scored it doesn't affect that end result. It won the game, beyond that I'm not concerned.

en You can't avenge that this early in the season. Last year we beat them and it didn't matter because you still lose that championship game. It's good just for that week. It doesn't mean nothing but a regular-season game in Week 3.

en It doesn't matter if it's a playoff game or a regular-season game. The umpires have to keep control of the game. Tony was warned twice.... It's a shame, but those are the circumstances.

en It doesn't matter when United play Liverpool, it's a guaranteed electric atmosphere. There will be tension in the game, if a mistake is made it will be punished. In that sense it doesn't matter when it's played, the only difference from a league game is it's a cup game and it could be sudden death tomorrow.

en Naturally we want to win every game, but Saturday's one of the biggest games of our season. We're really looking forward to getting them back after what they did to us at our place.
