I'm not sure that the right thing to do right now is take a survey. I don't want to say we need a 'special session,' but we need to get a grasp on this as a board.

Contrary to news accounts, I will not call a special session on Monday, ... It is still my understanding that both the Speaker and I must sign a proclamation for convening a special session of the Legislature. Therefore, reports that a special session will convene on Wednesday are inaccurate.

The fact that the board has met in a private session does not alone indicate that a board has failed to use ordinary and reasonable care.
