We got down into ordsprog

en We got down into turn one and the 66 spun out right in front of me,

en Wicket has not spun as we thought it would. But the signs are there (that it will turn tomorrow). If you bowl in the rough there's turn.

en At one point I was having a good run with Will Turner in the #2 car. We were fighting for sixth place and the lead pack was in sight. Knowing we had run quite a while under yellow, and with Will in my mirrors, I was pushing pretty hard. Unfortunately, the way we were crashing the curbs, one of my control arms gave out. When I entered turn one, I just couldn't hang on and Will was able to get by me. I did another lap, but then the car spun going into turn one. It was obvious my day was over so I got the car safely out of the way.

en I'm not sure who spun me around. I was coming up to turn three and wasn't in any braking areas and I just felt a hit and it turned me around. Obviously it's another disappointing day.

en I locked the brakes up and got into the wall, but there was no way to miss the crash. He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. It's typical Phoenix off Turn 4. When one car gets spun, everybody does.

en But he kind of looks up and says, 'Turn here.' Then, 'Turn here.' He had us make about five turns. Now, by this time, I thought Ron was just full of B.S., that he couldn't possibly know where we were going. We were on little, two-lane, unmarked roads. But then, on the next turn, we pull right up in front of Florida State's stadium. It was incredible.

en He was just a little bit stronger off Turn 2. We just couldn't quite get it done. That was it, the best I could do. Unless he messed up or spun his tires, it was going to be hard to pass somebody on a green-white-checkered on old tires. I knew it was going to be tough.

en We just really read off each other very well, ... Our timing was unreal. When I jumped into a hole and Pierre spun off someone in the corner or dug the puck out, he'd find me and hit me in front of the net. Very rarely when you are a player, every time you get the puck and are open do you actually get it. I felt I was getting it.

en It was my first real contact. I was driving and our squad leader was riding to my right in the front seat. The car bomb was in a Land Rover and we got hit in the right side. I didn't know what was happening. Smoke filled the rig. It blew us into the air and spun us around, but luckily, we landed on our wheels.

en I'm going to give myself a B-minus. In practice and qualifying I thought I made a lot of progress. But then in the race we got unlucky because we blew a left-front tire right off the bat. Later in the race I spun when I was trying to get by someone-- that was just a rookie mistake, but I managed to save the car and not hit the wall.

en Yeah, I wasn't real happy ... at that point, ... Being inside of somebody is pretty difficult here and especially coming off the turn. There were a couple of close calls where I almost spun off inside of him and got a little upset. But fortunately it didn't have an effect on the outcome of the race.

en I was forced to go around the outside of the kink in Turn 4 because a slow (Daytona) Prototype car was on the inside of the track. With all the marbles out there, the car just slid right off the road onto the grass, which would have been fine but unfortunately there were a lot of undulations and pits out there. The front splitter just dug into one of those and it ripped the front clip of the car off.

en After the last practice session yesterday we made the fatal error of adjusting something on the car and I didn't get my brake bias back to where it needed to be. I spun on the first lap and almost spun on the second lap so I spent the qualifying session adjusting my brake bias.

en Ports are the front lines of the war on terrorism. We wouldn't turn the Border Patrol or the Customs Service over to a foreign government, and we can't afford to turn our ports over to one either.
