We're all big boys. ordsprog

en We're all big boys. We actually did another record with Paul, with David Kahne producing, that's probably about half done, and then Paul decided to finish (Chaos). It was sort of worked on Chaos, worked on the other record. There's a lot of good music on that (one). It's definitely a very different kind of thing.

en A producer I had worked with (David Kahne) got the gig with Paul and brought me in and then, that was that. I was a big Beatles fan when I was young and they were the reason I started playing music.

en I worked very hard on me and David's record and I'm extremely proud of the record, as most people are who were involved with it. And, it's been wonderfully received by people who like our kind of music, they think it's something special, and so do I.

en Paul was an extremely competent and capable driver. Look at Paul's background and history: No one had worked harder to get to this level than Paul did. He ran our Triple-A series for a couple of years, won a race at Milwaukee, finished second in the points [2004]. He got an opportunity to go test, and he had thousands of miles in our cars.

en I'm a tidy sort of bloke. I don't like chaos. I kept records in the record rack, tea in the tea caddy, and pot in the pot box.
  George Harrison

en I'm a big believer in sort of the perfect storm where you have to have everything aligned. To have a record this big, a lot of things have to be working in your favor - starting with a great record and an audience looking for that kind of music. You can't make people buy a record. You can't manufacture a comeback.

en This one should be lots of fun, ... especially hosted by Paul Woodiel, a man with an inquisitive musical spirit. Paul is a classical and theatrical performer and an expert in ancient and traditional fiddle music. Every year, Paul and I tackle another idea, after which Paul finds the musicians and tells the story to his eager audience.

en Paul's worked extremely hard and has shown excellent play in practice and in scrimmages. Paul will probably get that opportunity at another time. Paul will probably get that opportunity at another time.

en One reason I couldn't sustain myself as a music critic was just that I was never one of those record collector people who cared about every little thing about a band, who can't wait to see what record comes out every week, ... For me, it was always more obsessive. I could listen to the same Jonathan Richman song over and over again. I came at it as a fan, but not a 'follow the beat' kind of fan. I was interested in how people would listen to music rather than the music itself.

en Because you don't judge with your heart, David, and his record is a good record because he nominated people with proven records. It's not a good record because we all trusted George W. Bush, with all due respect. He's a good president but he's not a great constitutional scholar.
