Our kids did a great job, and they have nothing to hand their heads about. It's fitting we share the conference title because both teams proved that they're pretty even.

The kids did a great job executing. In the second half, we executed pretty well but weren't making our shots. But I thought we really played well defensively. The kids have really bought into some of the stuff we've been doing. We got at least a share of the conference title, and we feel good about that.

To finish third out of 32 teams is a great accomplishment for our kids, program and coaching staff, . He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. .. I still feel like we were the best soccer team in this tournament, and it would have been great to play for the title. But we have nothing to hang our heads about.

We know how close we are to a (conference title). But we also know there are a lot of other teams in the running for it. We have to win our next two games unless we want to share it. None of us want that. We have come too far and worked too hard to share this.

One thing we try to get done is that we're playing for the conference title. I think we're going to be solid enough. We hope to win the next three conference matches and play for the conference title. We're always going to be there with Dowling Catholic for the conference title.

Something like this we'll probably never experience again. We shouldn't hang our heads, we had a great year. Two teams can't win a state title. That's life.

It's nice to have a conference win. We've got a great group of kids and they proved that they can play some awesome hockey. Having two wins in a row now says a little bit for them. Their confidence level is getting up and that's great. I'm so pleased for them. Hopefully, we'll continue to see more.

We're still playing for a share of the conference championship on Friday and that (a conference title) was our goal from the get-go.

As a football coach, you always try to find a way to make your kids smile when they take the field. You can say that Burlington sewed things up and this game doesn't seem as important to them, but they still have a shot to share the conference title. That is a motivator for them.

You can't do that at the state level and hopefully our kids will learn that. We are not hanging our heads and the kids had a great year. We went 31-3 and not many teams can say that.

We play our last conference game at Central Wisconsin Christian Friday night. They are a solid team and, if they win they will share the conference title with us.

Our conference is really tough. Five or six losses may do it [for the title]. I hope we can keep our heads straight and we'll be right there.

I'm pretty confident we'll be a solid third at conference. Loyola and Rosary are two of the top five teams in state. It wouldn't be a bad thing to finish third behind those two teams at conference.

These kids are all really close, and they've proved that all year by being a fantastic team. They proved it by all dying their hair, although I know some fathers and mothers who are going to be pretty upset.

Pretty much how the conference is is the teams that struggle are on the bottom, and then the top four teams and then we're stuck somewhere in the middle. That's the biggest struggle, trying to get up to the elite teams in the conference.
