en As I've said to the guys, there's a level of intensity that you have to do every day in practice. It's hard to simulate this in practice. Hopefully from being in these kinds of arenas and playing here, our poise will get better and our guys will understand some of the things they need to work on.

en They are struggling a little in the big leagues and they are trying to get guys to the higher level who are capable of pitching (in the majors) soon. Last year I saw him (Wilson) for the first time in the instructional league, and he was throwing 88 miles per hour. He came up here throwing 95, 96 and has hit 97 at times. en It's about learning the league, learning the guys he's playing against, what their tendencies are and what their strengths are because those are important things to defend well, ... We have a system of defense that's solid and he's in the process of learning that. For him, he's an experienced enough player and certainly has a high enough basketball IQ that he can pick it up quickly.
